Terms and Conditions

Cancellations and No Shows:

a. No shows will be charged for the entire duration of the booking.

b. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled arrival will be charged 50% of the total stay.

c. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival will be charged a cancellation fee of $50.

d. For cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival, no charges will be applied.

Note: Booking deposits are non-refundable; however, the deposited amount will be credited to future bookings provided that the above-mentioned terms are met.

e. A minimum charge applies to short stays.

Cats Dumped and Surrendered:

a. If a cat is dumped or surrendered at A Cat’s Holiday Home, the owner will be held fully responsible for all costs incurred, including boarding fees, rehoming expenses, veterinary bills, and any outstanding amounts.

Liability

a. A Cat’s Holiday Home and its staff will exercise reasonable care and attention for the cats under their care.

b.However, owners acknowledge that A Cat’s Holiday Home cannot be held liable for any illness, injury, loss, or damage to the cat(s) while in their care.

c. Owners must provide accurate and up-to-date information about their cat(s), including medical history and any special needs or requirements.

d. A Cat’s Holiday Home reserves the right to refuse admission or terminate the stay of any cat(s) that display aggressive or dangerous behaviour, or if they believe the cat(s) may be a risk to the health and safety of other cats or staff members.

e.In the event of an emergency, A Cat’s Holiday Home will make reasonable efforts to contact the owner or emergency contact provided. If unable to do so, the owner authorizes A Cat’s Holiday Home to seek necessary medical treatment for the cat(s) at the owner’s expense.

f. A cat’s Holiday Home is a busy working environment. In order to maintain our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, areas throughout the facility may have wet floors, or workers and cleaner’s tools. We do our very best to minimise the risk of accidents to staff and visitors alike, however, we must make the point that people enter the facility at their own risk. 

Payment:

a. Owners agree to pay all fees and charges associated with the boarding, care, and any additional services provided by A Cat’s Holiday Home.

b. Payment must be made in full upon collection of the cat(s) from A Cat’s Holiday Home.

c. In the event of any outstanding amounts, the owner agrees to cover all costs associated with the recovery of the outstanding balance, including but not limited to legal fees, collection agency fees, and court costs.

Changes to Reservations:

a. We strive to provide the room you have selected. However, there may be instances where this is not possible, and we may need to assign a different room.

General:

a. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the owner and A Cat’s Holiday Home and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or verbal.

b. A Cat’s Holiday Home reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.

c. Owners are responsible for reviewing the most current version of the terms and conditions on the acatsholidayhome.com.au website.

d. Any disputes arising from the use of A Cat’s Holiday Home’s services shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the facility is located.

e. All cats must have a current F3 or higher Vaccination. Proof of current status is required prior to admission and A Cats Holiday Home boarding facility reserves the right to refuse admission if this is not provided or vaccination status is not considered to be current by our staff.

f. Vaccinations MUST be given a minimum of two weeks (14 days) prior to boarding so that full immunization is gained before entry to A Cats Holiday Home.

g. A Cats Holiday Home reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of illness or infectious disease at time of admission.

h. A Cats Holiday Home have the right to refuse admission of any animal to the boarding facility without the requirement of an explanation.

i. Any cat showing signs of parasite infestation (fleas, intestinal worms, ticks) may be treated and the owner accepts the cost of this treatment.

j. The cat(s) owner will be required to provide us with contact details for yourself and if possible, a secondary contact whilst you are away.

k. A Cats Holiday Home will not take responsibility for any costs incurred from an illness that may develop whilst boarding or for any complications arising out of a pre-existing illness. It is the responsibility of the owner to pay all associated costs for any treatments required.

l. Even though A Cats Holiday Home provide a complete and fully professional level of care to your feline friend, unforeseen illnesses can still occur. If a cat becomes ill during their stay, staff will attempt to contact the owner or emergency contact (if supplied) in order to discuss any required treatment.

m. Should we be unable to contact you or your emergency contact (if supplied) A Cats Holiday Home will make the decision in the best interest for the Cat(s).

n. In the case where no contact is possible the client’s cat(s) will be taken to the vet of A Cats Holiday Homes choice who will treat your cat to a level deemed necessary by the attending veterinarian and ALL vet bills will be required to be paid by the Cats owner.

o.  Should your cat be taken to a vet a fee will be charged for transport and time spent at vet.

p. Should you request to have your pet taken to a vet of your choice for treatment A Cats Holiday Home will charge a cost for transport and time spent at vet and ALL vet bills will be required to be paid by the Cats owner.

q. A Cats Holiday Home reserve the right to have a vet come to the Premises of A Cats Holiday Home to treat the Cat(s) and the Owner accepts all costs associated with Vet travel, Veterinary attention and treatment.

r. A Cats Holiday Home will not be responsible for any outcomes which result due to inability of A Cats Holiday Home to contact a cat owner or alternate contact successfully.

s. In the unlikely event of the death of your cat, we will attempt to contact you the owner or emergency contact and hold your cats’ body for further advice.

t. If your cat(s) is not collected within 14 days of the end of the booking, and we are unable to reach the owner by phone or email contacts provided, the cat is considered to be abandoned and A Cats Holiday Home will surrender the cat to the RSPCA or local animal pound. All costs incurred are payable by the owner.

u. All accounts must be settled before your cat is discharged.

v. Clients are able to provide their own food for their cat, however due to extra work involved, there will be no discount provided for this. Standard Fees apply.

w. Clients understand that A Cats Holiday Home is not staffed 24 hours a day.

x. While A Cats Holiday Home aims to provide a safe, stress free and welcoming home away from home for your cat(s), all owners understand and accept that boarding is entirely at the owner’s risk.

y. The Client/Owner releases and fully indemnifies A Cats Holiday Home its employees and agents from all liability for injury, death, illness, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to the Cat(s) while in the care of or being transported by or being directly supervised by A Cats Holiday Home Cattery its employees and agents.

z. Any personal belongings brought into cats holiday home, beds, blankets, toys etc. are the responsibility of owner to take at check out.

By using A Cat’s Holiday Home’s services, owners acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions in their entirety.
